Root-Error
Class: Root-Error
A Root-Error is a specialized
GridNodeConnection
(rdfs:subClassOf) with Type = "ROOT-ERROR". It semantically
maps the connection entries returned by the Grid API
(/v1/grid/nodes/{HallAddress}/connections) whose Type is
ROOT-ERROR. Such an entry is an error signature: it declares
that its subject (Name, with the reference Param) is
explicitly defined as an error at the root level of the Herbrich Matrix.
This is a definition, not an event – it does not imply that the
error is currently active.

Properties of Root-Error
Root-Error introduces no additional properties. It is defined entirely by the
properties of its connection entry as returned by the Grid API, with the constraint
Type = "ROOT-ERROR":
| Property |
Expected Type |
Description |
Origin |
| Id |
xsd:string |
The GUID of the connection entry (UUID). Identifies the declared error signature uniquely within the Grid. |
inherited |
| Name |
xsd:string |
The identifier or display name of the Grid connection: the subject that is declared as an error. |
inherited |
| Type |
xsd:string |
Technical type. Always "ROOT-ERROR" for this class – this constraint is what defines the class. |
inherited |
| Param |
xsd:string |
The reference or payload of the connection entry (e.g. the entity, address, or scope the root-level error declaration points to). |
inherited |
| sourceNode |
Node |
The Grid Node on which this connection is registered (derived from the API endpoint /v1/grid/nodes/{HallAddress}/connections). |

The @type array makes the derivation machine-readable even without a loaded
ontology: every instance is simultaneously a Root-Error and a
GridNodeConnection. The example maps a real connection entry from the
Grid API; the semantics of the class lie in the Type constraint alone:
the entry declares "2. April" (Param "St. Ansgar") as an error defined as such at the
root level – without any statement about whether this error is currently active.
Distinction
| Class |
Meaning |
| GridNodeConnection |
Generic connection entry (arbitrary Type: FACEBOOK, DNS, HSSID, SHC, SYNONYME, …). |
| JenniFrameLink |
Connection with Type JENNIFRAME → callable JenniFrame route. |
| Snake |
Connection with Type SNAKE → reference to the serpent of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). |
| Root-Error |
Connection with Type ROOT-ERROR → error signature: an error explicitly declared as an error at the root level; declaration only, not necessarily an active fault. |
| GridEdge |
Directed or undirected edge between two Nodes (Source/Target). |
| NodeApplication |
Technical application running on a Node. |
