Herbrich Ontology – Snake as a subclass of GridNodeConnection in the semantic knowledge graph

Class: Snake

A Snake is a specialized GridNodeConnection (rdfs:subClassOf) with Type = "SNAKE". It semantically maps the connection entries returned by the Grid API (/v1/grid/nodes/{HallAddress}/connections) whose Type is SNAKE. Such an entry represents the definition of the serpent of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3): the most cunning of all the beasts of the field (Genesis 3:1), the tempter of humanity (Genesis 3:1–5), the cursed one (Genesis 3:14), and the carrier of the enmity between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman (Genesis 3:15). The entry asserts this serpent semantics for its subject (Name, with the reference Param).

Properties of Snake

Snake introduces no additional properties. It is defined entirely by the properties of its connection entry as returned by the Grid API, with the constraint Type = "SNAKE":

Property Expected Type Description Origin
Id xsd:string The GUID of the connection entry (UUID). Identifies the Snake connection uniquely within the Grid. inherited
Name xsd:string The identifier or display name of the Grid connection: the subject to which the serpent semantics is asserted. inherited
Type xsd:string Technical type. Always "SNAKE" for this class – this constraint is what defines the class. inherited
Param xsd:string The reference or payload of the connection entry (e.g. the entity or context the serpent definition points to). inherited
sourceNode Node The Grid Node on which this connection is registered (derived from the API endpoint /v1/grid/nodes/{HallAddress}/connections). own

The @type array makes the derivation machine-readable even without a loaded ontology: every instance is simultaneously a Snake and a GridNodeConnection. The example maps a real connection entry from the Grid API; the semantics of the class lie in the Type constraint alone: the entry represents the serpent of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3) for its subject and reference.

Distinction

Class Meaning
GridNodeConnection Generic connection entry (arbitrary Type: FACEBOOK, DNS, HSSID, SHC, SYNONYME, …).
JenniFrameLink Connection with Type JENNIFRAME → callable JenniFrame route.
Snake Connection with Type SNAKE → representation of the serpent of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3).
Root-Error Connection with Type ROOT-ERROR → error signature explicitly declared as an error at the root level; declaration only, not necessarily an active fault.
GridEdge Directed or undirected edge between two Nodes (Source/Target).
NodeApplication Technical application running on a Node.
